Art Journal

This past weekend I spent time working in my art journal. I use a vintage book called, Just Be Yourself by Mary Bard. I found it at a used bookstore years ago and have slowly been filling its pages with watercolors, collage, etc. I have many sketchbooks that I use. This journal is reserved for times when I need to slow down and really ruminate on what it means to be me. Here are some fairly recent pages...

Falling For Purple + Shop Update!

I can't believe today is September 1st. Where did the summer go? The tomatoes in my garden are just beginning to turn red and I'm already brainstorming halloween costume ideas! Haha!

With the end of summer approaching, I've found myself drawn to the color purple. Its deep and soothing and one of my favorite accent colors for this fall!
