I ♥ Summer

Hope you all had a sunny and relaxing holiday weekend! I spent mine lounging in the sun and doing some just-for-fun crafts.

My grandpa collects feathers for me while he's out on the golf course. I have so many bags of feathers now! I've been trying to think of ways I can use them. One idea I had was painting them. I finally gave the idea a whirl and this is how they turned out...

What do you think? Even after painting them, I still don't know what to do with them. For now they sit on a shelf in my room. I may try using the big one as a bookmark.

I've been having fun painting other objects lately too. Here are two mushrooms I painted from champagne corks. I love them!
