Summer Studio ♥

Yesterday, the sun finally came out in Portland. I took the opportunity to set up my summer studio in the backyard. It's so great working outside! I spent a few hours getting some new tie-dye t-shirts tagged and ready to be sold at Tender Loving Empire.


I'm so excited for summer! The clear skies and warm weather have brightened my mood and energized my creative motivation. I'm feeling ready for some new projects! ♥

Summer Camp!

I am soo so glad to be taking the RVA Summer Camp class! Having a list of fun, crafty projects already planned out, waiting for me to do is exactly what I need right now. Camp has just started and the first project is to create a summer logbook. I used a bunch of different random papers I had on hand for the inside pages and a bright piece of scrap fabric for the cover. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I can't wait to start filling it with summertime daydreams and doodles ♥

I'm a mess I guess....

Everyone's lives have cycles of ups and downs.. Lately I've felt pretty low in life. The rainy Portland weather has spun me into a spiral of having no motivation and a general feeling of being creatively stuck. The weather this past weekend has been a blessing. It has felt so good to be outside and soak up the sun, but I'm still feeling 'stuck'.

I've been dreaming about new destinations, new environments and I how I want to change my living situation. Here is where my thoughts have been lately...

With that said, I'm giving myself a break from my blog posting schedule for a little while. I need some time to focus on getting myself and my life together, back on track, and moving forward. I'll still definitely be posting things a few days a week, they will just be as random and chaotic as my life currently feels :)
